What it is

PLANNING turns direction into work. SIOP DDMRP turns Plans into Orders with a 12 month LookAhead.

Its parts

• SIOP. Supply / Inventory / Operations / Procurement — the cycle that turns the plan into orders.
• Orders. The plan becomes Shipping Orders, Transfer Orders, Work Orders and Purchase Orders — the work, in the order the operation needs it.
• Plan2Win. Planning done together, so the whole operation plans to win — every part of the car clear on where it is going.

How it interacts

PLANNING takes the direction from ALIGNMENT and turns it into orders. METRICS read the plan's numbers as they move; the work the orders raise is tracked in ACTIONS.

Training

The module's training works the SIOP cycle on your own plan: from the Objective to the orders, with the seats that carry each order type named and owning their part.
